Operating the Can Opener

↠ Step1：Place the Can Opener on top of the can with its rim positioned in the groove between the Cutter and the Drive Wheel

↠ Step2：With the can on a flat surface, press the Button for about one second and release, then the Can Opener will start cutting the side of the can

↠ Step3：When the cutting has completed, press the button immediately to reverse the cutter

↠Step4：Make sure that the cutter resets to the start position and the motor stops. Then, lift the can opener off the can

How to Install the Battery

⊹ To insert (and remove) 2 AA batteries (according to the polarity instruction (+/-)) into the (out of) battery compartment, slide the bottom cover back by holding the device upside down and the narrow end toward you hold up. Place each thumb on each side of the magnet and pull towards you. The battery cover snaps off for easy removal. Replace the bottom cover after the batteries are installed. Always replace both batteries at the same time and never mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types.

NOTE

1. If the battery is exhausted, pressing the button may not release the jar. Slide the battery cover back and replace 2 AA batteries. The can opener should continue to cut. Remember to replace the battery.

2. Jars with heavy seams and uneven edges may block the can opener. If this happens, follow the steps above to release the canister.

3. If the can is stuck, press the black button at the end of the can opener. Rotate it in the opposite direction to release the can.
